Music Radio WJS plays the best music from the 60s, 70s, 80 and beyond. We realize that not every song is a favorite, but if you listen long enough you'll probably hear one. Any song can take you back to a different time in your life.
Not only does Music Radio WJS play the best music, but some fun commercials from the past. Remember when commercials on the radio were almost as fun as the music itself? Maybe you would catch yourself singing along to the jingle or laughing out loud at the commercial.
Our goal is to not only play great music but evoke great memories.

Jim Snyder, creator of Music Radio WJS takes you back to a time when radio was fun and engaging with fun stories and of course all your favorites.
"I grew up listening to AM Top 40 Rock Radio. Stations like CKLW out of Windsor/Detroit, WLS in Chicago along with other local stations inspired me to get into the radio business. The music, the disc jockeys and the bigger than life contests just grabbed my attention. While I can't completely recreate those kinds of stations, I can sure have a lot of fun playing some great music and sharing some stories!"
